What is NovelTribe?
Novel Tribe is a monthly children’s book subscription service delivering age-appropriate books and reading extras to children from birth to 12 years.
How does the subscription work?
Choose a package based on your child’s age group, complete the sign-up form, and select your monthly debit date. Your account will be billed automatically, and your book box will be delivered to your door every month. You can also choose the number of books per month (1, 2, or 3) when signing up.
Is delivery really free?
Yes! All subscriptions include free nationwide courier delivery.
What comes in each monthly box?
Each box includes carefully curated, age-appropriate books. Depending on the age group, children also receive reading tools, activities, bookmarks, or collectibles. Subscribers also receive a themed library bag every quarter.
Can I subscribe for more than one child?
Yes. You can subscribe for multiple children and select packages based on each child’s age. You can also choose the number of books for each child’s subscription.
Can I change or upgrade my subscription?
Absolutely. As your child grows, you can upgrade to the next age group or update your details by contacting our subscriptions team before your next billing date. We will send an email to remind you to update your details.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely via Paystack and debited monthly on your selected billing date. Each payment covers the next scheduled dispatch, which takes place on the 15th of the month following successful payment.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails, we’ll attempt it once and notify you by email. You will have 5 days from the invoice date to complete payment via EFT and send proof to payments@noveltribe.co.za. Boxes will only be included in the dispatch once payment is confirmed.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancellations must be completed before your next billing date by emailing subscriptions@noveltribe.co.za.
When are boxes delivered?
Boxes are dispatched monthly on the 15th and typically delivered within 3–5 working days. Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number to monitor your delivery.
What if a book arrives damaged or goes missing?
Please contact our support team at support@noveltribe.co.za, and we’ll gladly assist with a replacement.
Who selects the books?
Books are carefully chosen based on reading milestones, age, and developmental needs to ensure the best possible reading experience.
